Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software. You will play a critical role in the software development lifecycle, owning both manual and automated testing processes to ensure that our products meet performance and usability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, and system testing.
• Log, track, and validate defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Build and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for various applications.
• Develop automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Monitor software quality metrics and provide feedback to engineering teams.
• Perform performance/load testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 5 years of experience in QA or software testing roles.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cypress).
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript for test scripting.
• Experience in tools like JIRA, TestRail, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with REST API testing and SQL/database validations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android).
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
• Exposure to AWS/Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, security, and accessibility testing.
