Experienced Procurement Intern - Supply Chain Operations and Strategic Sourcing

Job Summary:

We're looking for a talented and ambitious individual to support our Procurement team in various aspects of supply chain operations, strategic sourcing, and supplier management. This internship provides an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement operations, supplier management, and supply chain optimization. You'll work closely with our Procurement team, supporting day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Vice President/Supply Director (VP/SD) in the US and directors in Asia on procurement operations with outsourced suppliers, including Foundry, OSAT, and Test house.

• Strategic sourcing: price, capacity, and supplier selection.
• Building relationships with suppliers and coordinating with related internal departments.
• Coordinate with other departments on RFI/RFQ (Request for Information/Request for Quotation).
• Work closely with procurement teams in Asia to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Coordinate between US, EU, and Asia sales among suppliers with the Asia procurement team.
• Organize QBR (Supplier performance review/Score monitoring) and arrange meetings with suppliers.
• Support travel arrangements and other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or a related field.

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling procurement tasks and documentation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for vendor correspondence and internal collaboration.
• Technical Proficiency:

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). + Familiarity with procurement tools or enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Ariba) is a plus.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Organizational Skills: Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
