About the Role

We are looking for skilled and experienced caregivers who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to our clients. As a caregiver with Right at Home, you will be responsible for providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities, as well as performing light housekeeping duties and preparing meals. You will be working closely with our clients, their families, and our care team to ensure that each individual receives the care and support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
• Prepare meals and snacks according to client preferences and dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organization
• Provide companionship and social interaction, including accompanying clients on errands and outings
• Assist with medication reminders, special diets, and other health-related tasks
• Maintain accurate records of client care and progress

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Must be registered with the State of California Home Care Aide Registry
• Current Live Scan (FBI and DOJ) clearance
• Current TB screening and physical examination
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a caregiver or in a related field
• Certification in CPR/First Aid and other relevant certifications
• Experience working with seniors and individuals with disabilities
• Knowledge of dementia care and other specialized care techniques
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
