Job Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Customer Care Associate to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer care team, you'll be responsible for processing incoming orders, resolving customer inquiries, and providing world-class service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading beverage distributor and develop your skills in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and enter orders accurately and efficiently in SAP, ensuring sales are captured and customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues through the use of multiple customer support tools, including SAP and other business unit contacts.
  • Maintain world-class standards by meeting department scorecards and metrics, and continually seeking opportunities to exceed service requirements.
  • Build and manage relationships with customers and business unit contacts to provide consultative support and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain customer confidence, and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Suggest alternatives to out-of-stock or limited quantity items and inform customers of available deals to sustain satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use diplomacy and discretion when interacting with customers.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing consultative support and resolving issues efficiently.
  • The ability to multi-task, work independently, and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions and take action as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or communications.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the consumer products or distribution industry.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a proven track record of meeting targets and achieving results.
