Job Summary: Cheer Instructor

As a Cheer Instructor with i9 Sports, you'll be responsible for leading practice sessions, teaching core concepts, and demonstrating sportsmanship values to young athletes. You'll play a vital role in delivering the i9 Sports Experience and fostering a positive youth sports culture on the field. If you're passionate about cheerleading, have excellent communication skills, and are committed to making a difference in the lives of young athletes, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
  • Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values
  • Communicate game day information to players and parents using established platforms
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for athletes to learn and grow

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • At least 2 years of cheerleading or dance experience
  • Reliable transportation to and from work site
  • Access to a phone with internet capability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge
  • Highly motivated self-starter; able to work independently
  • Ability to work a varied work schedule, including weekends and some evenings (~7 weeks)
