About the Role

As a Dishwasher and Porter, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our Foodservice Department. Your attention to detail and commitment to our high standards will ensure a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly collect and dispose of all food-related and recyclable waste/trash
• Perform warewashing duties per safety guidelines, including dishmachine and three-compartment pot sink
• Clean and maintain carts and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and cleaning solutions
• Comply with internal policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements/standards regarding kitchen safety and sanitation
• Transport carts, deliver meal trays, or pick up meal trays from assigned areas as needed

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• No degree or specific education required
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a foodservice or healthcare environment
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
