Job Summary The Medical Assistant will play an essential part in supporting clinical operations by enabling services that MDWatch offers such as RPM and CCM. The position requires the Medical Assistant to check monitor vital signs, execute clinical protocols, and performing patient outreach and coaching for chronic condition management. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment. · Monitor and interpret incoming data using platforms such as RevUp to analyze patient-submitted vitals. · Follow clinical escalation protocols and promptly communicate findings to the interdisciplinary healthcare team, escalating care as needed based on out-of-range readings. · Perform patient calls in response to urgent vitals, guiding patients through next steps and ensuring appropriate documentation in the EMR. · Conduct monthly coaching calls, evaluating progress toward health goals, medication adherence, lifestyle changes, and care plan compliance. · Educate patients to understand their personalized data from devices and apps, helping them develop greater self-awareness and engagement in their care. · Establish goals and achievable care plans in collaboration with patients, staying aligned with the broader care team and program objectives. · Maintain effective communication with patients through telephone calls and secure messaging platforms to support their overall health and wellness. · Participate in regular one-on-one sessions with leadership for performance feedback and professional growth opportunities. · Stay informed on current health literature, fitness, nutrition, mobile health technology, and industry trends to enhance patient education and care delivery. · Operate within scope of practice under the supervision of licensed nurses, while contributing actively to the success of the programs through strong organization, adaptability, and communication. Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications · Medical Assistant Certification (Required) · Previous experience in medical reception, chronic care management, or telehealth preferred · Demonstrated ability to navigate multiple digital platforms and EMR systems · Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially over the phone · Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills · Ability to function independently and as part of a collaborative team · Flexible, proactive, and adaptable to evolving workflows and patient needs · Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other basic software applications · Must be tech savvy and know how to navigate across multiple platforms Schedule (Remote): 5 days a week – Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (8:30am – 5:00pm PST) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Weekends REQUIRED

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • EMR systems: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Medical assistant certificate (Required)
