Your Role as a Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will be the eyes and ears for our team, fielding customer inquiries and finding innovative ways to respond. You will work in a collaborative and engaging environment, interacting with people from all walks of life, and no two days will be the same. Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a Customer Service Representative will include:
- Fielding customer inquiries by finding innovative ways to respond to varying questions, issues, and concerns
- Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries
- Providing excellent customer service through active listening
- Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively
- Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive
- Appropriately communicating with customers
- Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues
- Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate
- Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
- Providing feedback on call issues
- Upselling if required
Qualifications

- Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment
- 6 months of customer service experience (preferred)
- Over 18 years of age
- Ability to type 25 wpm
- High School Graduate or GED
- Comfort with desktop computer systems
- Proven oral and written communication skills
- Logical problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate Windows operating systems
- Organization and work prioritization skills
Work from Home Requirements
To work from home as a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will need:
- A reliable internet connection with a minimum subscribed download rate of 12.0 Mbps and a minimum subscribed upload rate of 3.0 Mbps
- An ISP with no packet loss and a ping under 50ms
- Proof of internet speed required
