We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Transcriptionist to convert audio and video recordings into accurate written documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe audio and video files into clear written documents.
- Review and edit transcripts for grammar, formatting, and clarity.
- Ensure transcripts meet required style guidelines and quality standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Manage multiple transcription assignments and meet deadlines.
- Identify unclear audio segments and request clarification when necessary.
- Use transcription software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Proofread and revise completed transcripts before submission.
Qualifications:
- Previous transcription experience preferred (medical, legal, or general).
- Excellent listening, typing, and grammar skills.
- Able to type at least 60 WPM with high accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Otter, Descript).
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
