Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Sales Representative, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls, emails, and chats from customers, providing expert advice and guidance on travel-related matters, and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services. Your primary objectives will be to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify customer travel needs and offer personalized solutions to meet their requirements
  • Upsell and cross-sell our products and services, driving revenue growth and increasing customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including sales and customer service transactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and sales strategies to ensure optimal performance

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Customer Service Sales Representative at blithequark, you will need:

  • A combination of education and experience, with a minimum of six months of experience in a customer-facing role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to accurately type 30 wpm or faster
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, with a minimum of 90% QA score

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Spanish bilingual or proficiency in another language
  • Experience in a busy call center or airline/travel environment
  • Knowledge of the travel industry, including products, services, and trends
  • Proven sales and customer service skills, with a track record of success in driving revenue growth and increasing customer satisfaction

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

As a Customer Service Sales Representative at blithequark, you will be required to:

  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with moderate noise levels
  • Sit for extended periods of time, using a computer and phone
  • Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs
  • Work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Travel may be required for training, meetings, or other business purposes
