The Revelation Group

As part of the CEX team, you'll be joining the Revelation Group, which focuses on changing the way we reveal content to our customers. Our goal is to provide an instinctive and personalized experience that empowers customers to explore and discover new content. We collaborate with engineers, data scientists, architects, and designers to improve calculations and recommendation systems, leveraging customer preferences and behavior to deliver a unique and engaging experience.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack Software Architect – Customer Experience Designing, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and architecting solutions that drive customer experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a technical architect for the groups within the Revelation contract
  • Ensuring the quality of engineering and design of frameworks
  • Breaking down complex issues into simple, straightforward solutions
  • Developing technical guides, framing future directions, and orchestrating technological advancements
  • Analyzing and improving data quality and metrics
  • Understanding and resolving framework interdependencies and constraints
  • Using internal and industry data to make informed design decisions
  • Applying technical influence over 50+ colleagues, enhancing their efficiency and effectiveness by sharing your expertise and experience
  • Coaching on cutting-edge technical matters for professional development

Essential Qualifications and Characteristics

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 4+ years of experience building large-scale mobile frameworks
  • Strong foundation with hands-on experience as a Senior Software Development Engineer
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems
  • Capability in datastores (SQL, NoSQL) and ability to choose the right technology based on requirements
  • Strong understanding of data models, algorithms, and planning for execution
  • Brilliant critical thinking skills
  • Ability to provide technical guidance across backend, frontend, and ML technologies
  • Thrive in a highly creative and fast-paced environment, achieving stretch objectives
  • Sound business judgment, demonstrated ability to influence others, and strong analytical reasoning skills
  • Broad experience of mentoring junior designers to progress
  • Pioneering spirit and ability to have fun!

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

  • Tech/B.E/Bosses or a similar degree from a reputable university
  • At least 13 years of professional experience as a backend/full stack engineer with hands-on experience on building highly scalable and performant distributed systems
  • Any experience with ML, data science, or search in B2C (e-commerce, OTT) is a plus
