Responsibilities are performed under direct supervision.MoDOT will bring candidates onto the team as entry-level or senior level, based on your skills and experience. This opening is for a part-time position with annual hours up to but no more than 1040 hours per year. This position is not benefits-eligible and will work Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm until 1040 total hours have been worked.

• Perform routine maintenance on building interiors, such as replacing light bulbs, switches and fuses; repair windows and blinds; and install floor and ceiling tile
• Perform facility renovation, repair, and maintenance functions such as pouring and finishing concrete, roofing, painting and plastering, and installing carpet, sheetrock, and doors
• Perform routine maintenance to plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems
• Repair, move, and assemble file cabinets and furniture
• Load and unload freight and deliver to appropriate office

• Job requires heavy physical exertion and effort.
• Job requires exposure to moderately adverse and undesirable environmental conditions.
• Job may require operation of vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials.
• Annual hours restricted to 1040 hours worked.
• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET
• Successful completion of a work simulation examination and a medical-physical examination.
