The Corporate Affairs and Patient Engagement Intern will support the Communications and Patient team in developing tools and projects that strengthen relationships and advance AbbVie's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in projects that prioritize the needs and well-being of patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a patient-centric approach
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of data to inform decision-making processes and contribute to strategic initiatives
  • Support various departments by adapting quickly to new projects and technologies and propose creative solutions to complex challenges
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and foster a collaborative work environment
  • Engage in tasks that challenge your ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems

Skills

  • Recently completed a graduate or undergraduate university program, or be expected to graduate in 2026
  • The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong interest in customer and patient needs
  • Has effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Is adaptable and innovative
  • Excels in a team centric environment
  • Strong foundational knowledge and educational background in communications, media studies, journalism, public relations, marketing, advertising, or related fields is considered a strong asset
