As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in the Subscriber Operations function within the Data Analytics team, responsible for measuring subscriber balances across the Disney Streaming portfolio, including Disney, Hulu, ESPN, and Star. Job Summary As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting continuous companion measurement for various business-critical initiatives. You will work closely with our upstream messaging partners to ensure accurate delivery of subscription change messaging, including price increases, subscriber cancellations, and new data being collected. You will also help identify subscribers impacted by episodes requiring significant and lawful remediations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage admission and archive data requirements connected with subscriber informing drives, including price increments, subscriber arrangements, and new data being gathered, as well as episode remediation. Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes legally committing, to determine accurate companions of subscribers for informing and remediation. Convey business requirements to technical groups and provide compact summaries of technical progress or potential detours to business partners. Develop solid knowledge of subscriber balances and the technical framework that underlies subscriber data. Oversee project planning and schedules and manage cross-functional delivery to ensure preparation for significant business events. Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of solid communication processes and operational playbooks. In collaboration with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering, contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions that minimize data incidents.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 2 years of work experience creating in SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline. 2 years of analytical experience. Demonstrated expertise with delivering technical or analytical concepts to a wide range of audiences. Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages. Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Comprehension of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis). Postgraduate education. Knowledge of Wind current.
