About the position ICF seeks a Case Facilitation and Pro Bono Network Project Manager to work on a national technical assistance project. The goal of the project is to support and enable legal representation to Unaccompanied Children across the country. The Operations Project Manager will use his/her expertise to implement an effective strategy to manage the operations of the legal service provider network, including aligning, tracking, and managing workflows both at facilities and post-release, ensuring continuity of services and overseeing case matching and referrals post-release. The Case Facilitation and Pro Bono Network Project Manger will also be responsible for coordinating recruitment and monitoring of a pro-bono attorney network, working closely with legal service provider organizations to refer and match cases to pro bono attorneys and to set up and implement processes for pro bono case tracking. The successful candidate has broad knowledge of project management. The Project Manager will work closely with and under the oversight of the Provider Network Manager and Deputy Director. The successful candidate will have an ability to partner with the client, legal network directors, and onsite facility staff. He/she will manage a team to facilitate the work outlined above.

Responsibilities

  • manage a team to facilitate the work outlined above

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years professional project management experience, including managing projects, tasks, deliverables, staff supervision and budget oversight
  • A minimum of 3 years demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder and partner relationships, including balancing multiple perspectives/needs
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with immigrating children and families.
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of management experience or Master’s Degree plus 2 years of management experience.
  • High quality control skills with superior attention to detail and the ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Solid team builder and team player with proven ability to manage competing priorities, perspectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on TA project management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing administrative support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact and diplomacy.
  • Proficient with MS office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to gather, organize, and synthesize information for application in technical assistance delivery
  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional or similar certification
  • Experience working for a refugee program or unaccompanied children program
  • Working knowledge of the unaccompanied children’s program
  • Proficient in use of Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar applications
  • Master’s degree in social work, public administration, or other advanced degree in a related field
