Sr. Workday Security and Reporting Lead

TalentFish is casting a line for a Sr. Workday Security and Reporting Administrator reporting to the Workday Technical Manager. This is a remote contract to hire role. This position is open due to the implementation of Workday and need for an astute Workday Security and Reporting Administrator to join the team. A Workday Security and Reporting LEAD manages user access, security configurations, and data integrity within the Workday platform, while also developing custom reports and dashboards to support business needs - this is a technical role. You will ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, and GDPR and safeguard the Workday system. What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5 plus years of experience as a Workday Security and Reporting Administrator for a provider of Healthcare Services, Hospital or Clinical environment
  • Experience with one plus Workday implementation
  • Deep understanding of the Workday security framework, including custom security groups, security policies, and user provisioning
  • Experience with Workday Report Writer required
  • Experience leading new software installations and enhancement requests
  • Experience as the Sr. Security Administrator designing and implementing security solutions, managing security services, and conducting security assessments
  • Executive presence communicating system changes and enhancements to the user community
  • Experience recommending and implementing policies and procedures for security functionality, maximizing systems capabilities
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders defining security requirements and translating them into Workday configurations
  • What You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position)
  • Responsible for the configuration and administration of Workday's domain security policies, business process security policies, authentication and mobile access policies, and the assignment of role-based security within the Workday application
  • Support the implementation of Workday security applications
  • User Access Management : Configure, maintain, and audit security roles, permissions, etc
  • Reporting and Analytics : Create and optimize custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields within Workday to meet functional requirements and support data-driven decision-making
  • Security Configuration : Develop and implement security policies, including managing domain and business process security policies and configuring single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
  • Auditing and Compliance : Conduct regular security and data integrity audits to identify discrepancies, vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations (SOX, etc.)
  • System Maintenance and Support : Troubleshoot security and access-related issues, manage the ticketing system, perform mass data loads using Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs), and support Workday migration and enhancement sessions.
  • Change Management : Participate in system testing for upgrades and new feature releases, etc
  • Collaboration and Training : Partner with HR, IT, finance, and compliance teams, etc
  • Define and update security groups
  • Define and maintain domains and business process security policies
  • Document proper internal security controls and maintain project documents
  • Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy

Compensation

Information The expected salary range for this position is 65-90/hr per, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
