District Sales Director
This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Maryland (USA) Job Summary: The District Sales Director (DSD) provides support and assistance to the Regional Sales Director in the areas of recruiting, reporting, training, and management of the team. Primary Responsibilities:
- Recruit new ASD’s and SD’s as well as independent contractor agents.
- Follow up with new agents to ensure efficient and timely on-boarding.
- Regularly train agents on products and selling tools.
- Communicate with, service and retain top level independent contractor agents.
- Attend and participate in meetings as required by management.
- Strive to meet company sales objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
- High school diploma or undergraduate degree. Industry experience may be substituted for educational qualification.
- 0-2 years of experience in insurance marketing and sales.
- Must hold a valid life & health insurance license.
- Consistently conveys a friendly, positive, and professional attitude while maintaining confidentiality.
- Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and a commitment to quality; proactively seeks ways to improve and monitors own work.
- Listens attentively, seeks clarification, and responds effectively to questions; supports organizational policies, procedures, and values.
- Uses sound judgment, includes relevant stakeholders in decision-making, manages time efficiently, and adapts well to change and unexpected events.
- Is reliable and punctual; follows instructions, responds positively to managerial direction, and effectively manages and motivates insurance agents.
