Director, Marketing Operations Location: Denver, CO The Opportunity WOW! is seeking a strategic and operationally exceptional Director, Marketing Operations, to serve as the engine behind our marketing organization. This leader will own the annual and quarterly marketing planning process , ensuring cross-functional alignment and executive visibility into strategy, performance, and investment decisions. You will connect Brand, Growth, Field Marketing, Product, Finance, Sales, and Analytics into one unified operating cadence — transforming strategy into execution with clarity, accountability, and measurable business impact. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following: Annual & Quarterly Marketing Planning

  • Lead the annual marketing planning process aligned to corporate revenue and subscriber targets
  • Develop quarterly marketing roadmaps across brand, acquisition, lifecycle, and expansion initiatives
  • Establish clear objectives, KPIs, timelines, and accountability structures
  • Facilitate planning workshops and cross-functional prioritization sessions
  • Ensure alignment between marketing strategy and financial targets

Cross-Functional Alignment & Communication

  • Serve as the central communication hub for marketing plans across departments
  • Translate marketing strategies into clear narratives for Sales, Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership
  • Partner with Product and Field Marketing to ensure launch and promotion alignment
  • Drive transparency in trade-offs, priorities, and resource allocation

Executive Reporting & Visibility

  • Develop executive-ready presentations for quarterly business reviews and board updates
  • Create standardized reporting frameworks across marketing functions
  • Provide visibility into campaign calendars, budget pacing, and performance against goals
  • Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies proactively

Budget & Resource Coordination

  • Partner with Finance and Growth Marketing to align spend plans with forecasted outcomes
  • Track budget allocations across brand, acquisition, and field marketing
  • Support scenario modeling and mid-quarter reallocations
  • Ensure operational discipline across marketing investments

Process & Governance

  • Build scalable planning frameworks and operating cadences
  • Establish consistent briefing, approval, and campaign tracking processes
  • Improve collaboration tools, documentation standards, and workflows
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements

Performance & KPI Management

  • Standardize marketing KPI definitions and reporting cadence
  • Ensure consistency between marketing metrics and enterprise reporting
  • Monitor performance trends and flag areas requiring strategic adjustment

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, strategic planning, or marketing leadership
  • Experience leading enterprise planning processes in telecom, broadband, subscription, or consumer services preferred
  • Strong financial acumen and experience working closely with Finance teams
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience implementing operational frameworks and governance processes
