Compensation & Growth

  • Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour.
  • Pay Scaling: Your rate increases as you work more events and take on larger-scale event responsibilities.

About the Role

Reports To: Event Producer

Travel: Nationwide (California to New York)

Job Summary As External Event Staff, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring our events run smoothly by tackling a variety of tasks and supporting on-site operations. Expect long, rewarding days filled with hands-on work—from setup to teardown. Get ready to dive in: whether picking up trash or wading in water, you’ll embrace the fun of getting a little dirty while creating unforgettable experiences!

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Support: Assist with setup, execution, and teardown, including lantern distribution and site preparation.
  • Staff Coordination: Help manage and direct local staff and volunteers.
  • Guest Interaction: Provide professional assistance to attendees to enhance their experience.
  • Logistics Assistance: Support the Event Producer with inventory and equipment handling.
  • Growth Track: Engage in training sessions to learn event management skills for future advancement.

  • Availability: Must have complete availability on event weekends.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Attributes: Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn with a team-oriented mindset.
