About The Role

Were looking for an organized, people-first HR Manager to join the Beachside VR team. This role will oversee HR operations across our growing portfolio, supporting teams in Florida, Texas, and South Carolina (with additional states to come).

Youll serve as the operational lead for HR at Beachside VR, ensuring consistent, compliant, and scalable HR practices across the U.S.

If you're an experienced HR operator who understands U.S. HR practices, multi-state compliance, and the importance of well-built, scalable systems, this role is for you.

What Youll Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

• Onboard new employees across multiple entities and states

• Build, maintain, and update company employee handbooks

• Run and manage payroll, including payroll taxes

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local HR laws

• Recruit for open roles and conduct initial candidate interviews

• Coordinate and schedule interviews with department managers

• Manage and track PTO, employee records, and HR documentation

• Oversee HR-related tax filings and compliance requirements

Youll Be a Great Fit If You

• Have 3+ years of hands-on HR experience

• Are fluent in multi-state HR practices and compliance across the U.S.

• Have experience running payroll and managing payroll taxes

• Love building operational systems, documentation, and processes

• Are detail-oriented and proactive about risk and compliance

• Communicate clearly with leadership, managers, and employees

• Thrive in a remote, operations-driven environment

The Details

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 (DOE)

Benefits: PTO

Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-based only)
