As a Database Analyst at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and updating our database with accurate and timely information related to UPS shipments and deliveries. You'll work closely with our team to investigate normal database issues, perform calamity recovery tasks, and ensure the smooth operation of our database systems. • *Key Responsibilities**

• Investigate normal database issues and perform calamity recovery tasks to ensure the integrity and availability of our database systems

• Perform routine database support tasks, including file maintenance, backup and recovery (full, differential, and log backups), and SQL job scheduling
• Develop and implement database performance tuning and optimization strategies to improve database efficiency and scalability
• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve database-related issues and improve database performance
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including database schema, data dictionary, and query logs
• Participate in database design and development, including data modeling, entity-relationship modeling, and database normalization
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in database management and analysis
• *Essential Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 4+ years of experience in database administration, analysis, and design
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, including database design, development, and administration
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization, including indexing, caching, and query optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex database-related issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye for accuracy and precision
• *Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience with cloud-based database management systems, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure

• Knowledge of database security and compliance, including data encryption, access control, and auditing
• Experience with database migration and consolidation, including data transformation and data warehousing
• Strong programming skills, including SQL, Python, and PowerShell
• Experience with database testing and quality assurance, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing
• Strong knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView
