Job Summary
Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director-Student Services, the Education Specialist will support the instructional program for all students and provide academic, behavioral, and social intervention services to identified students. The Educational Specialist shall participate as a member of the educational team that assesses student
performance in the areas of disability; develops assessment reports; identifies student abilities within education, developmental or functional parameters; develops goals and objectives for consideration in the individualized education program (IEP) team meeting and maintains appropriate documentation and reports. All employees are expected to follow the responsibilities and procedures as delineated in the Employee Handbook.

Salary Info
Placement on the pay scale is dependent on experience, along with provisions of the Compensation Policy. Salaries are prorated to reflect the portion of the year worked over the annual school calendar
