Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Engineer (Data Analytics) to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer (Data Analytics), you will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, creating visually appealing reports and dashboards, and maintaining the highest standards of data quality and accuracy. Your role will involve ongoing report iteration and optimization, ensuring that our stakeholders have access to timely and meaningful data. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in promoting BI solution adoption and empowering business users through training and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends
• Interpret data and translate findings into clear and concise reports for stakeholders
• Design and implement data models for reporting and analysis purposes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Develop visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools, particularly Looker Studio
• Maintain and optimize existing reports, ensuring they remain relevant and useful for the business users
• Document technical specifications, data mappings, and processes to ensure a clear understanding of the implemented solutions
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in relevant fields (E.g. Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science etc)
• 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence Analysis and Reporting
• Experience in working with a remote team
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data cleansing, processing and analysis
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience working with data warehouse solutions like Google BigQuery
• Proficiency in using BI tools for creating interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders and present findings and recommendations
• Knowledge of cloud environments and version control
• Expert in data and visualization, help to communicate complex data relationships and data-driven insights in a way that is easy to understand

Preferred Qualifications

• 8 years and above of experience in Business Intelligence Analysis and Reporting
• Proven experience with Looker Studio and Google Big Query preferred
