Key Responsibilities As a Customer Application & Support Engineer / Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include: * Utilizing technical and applications expertise to gather data, interpret data, and deliver solutions for customers' issues * Working directly with arenaflex Tech Support/Engineering and Customer Engineering to solve complex equipment and applications problems quickly and effectively * Becoming an expert in supporting arenaflex products and providing training and support to arenaflex staff and customers * Providing first-line and second-level escalation support for hardware and software-related issues * Performing instrument upgrades in the field * Providing regular status updates to Supervisor and Customer, including accompanying documentation * Communicating with colleagues and customers at a professional and proactive level Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: * Exceptional team working and communication skills, with a solution-driven and customer-oriented approach * Outstanding documentation and problem-solving skills * Experience in servicing equipment (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs) * Proficiency with test equipment and hands-on experience with scientific instrumentation * A willingness to travel for business (primarily in California, and occasionally to other locations in the Americas with international destinations) * Advanced US Military electronics training, or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in an Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or Science-related field Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be advantageous: * Experience with arenaflex products or similar complex systems * Familiarity with nanofabrication and related technologies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
