Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for handling a high volume of incoming calls from members and patients. Your primary focus will be on providing timely research and resolution of telephone inquiries, addressing questions about member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues. You'll also be responsible for:

  • Managing incoming calls to address patient service needs such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, and scheduling
  • Providing accurate and timely information to callers, ensuring that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed
  • Utilizing CRM/EMR or call-tracking systems to document calls and follow through on resolutions
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and HIPAA/privacy compliance in all interactions
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support to our members and patients

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or contact center environment
  • Experience assisting callers with eligibility/benefits, claims/payment resolution, billing updates, payment plans, and appointment scheduling
  • Proficiency with CRM/EMR or call-tracking systems, with a focus on accurate call documentation and follow-through
  • Strong communication, de-escalation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage a high call volume and meet performance KPIs
  • A commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and HIPAA/privacy compliance

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Contact Center Professional (CCCP)
  • Experience with data entry, record-keeping, or other administrative tasks
