Role Overview This one’s for the community-minded, platform-savvy, chronically curious people who know that great social work is built on trust, timing, and taste. As a Brand & Social Strategy Specialist at QuillBot, you’ll own the day-to-day execution of our social presence and community engagement. You’ll bring our brand to life across platforms, build meaningful relationships with our audience, and apply strong instincts for formats, timing, and tone, all while developing sharper judgment and confidence in your decision-making. This role translates the global brand strategy into social activation, working at the intersection of culture, creators, and algorithms to ensure QuillBot’s presence is timely and relevant.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day publishing across QuillBot’s social platforms, executing with a strong grasp of cultural context, platform dynamics, and audience expectations in QuillBot’s priority market.
  • Engage directly with community members, advocates, and power users through thoughtful, timely inbound and outbound engagement.
  • Apply platform-specific instincts around formats, timing, and algorithms to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Monitor sentiment and surface emerging patterns or opportunities.

Coordination & Execution (40%)

  • Support and translate global brand narratives and messaging frameworks into social execution.
  • Partner closely with creators, contributors, and collaborators to support high-impact social activations and entertainment-led content.
  • Maintain content calendars and manage day-to-day workflows.
  • Support campaigns and cultural moments with reliable, high-quality delivery.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs and clear communication across collaborators.

Reporting & Insight (20%)

  • Track engagement and performance across platforms.
  • Share qualitative and quantitative insights to inform future strategy.
  • Help identify what’s resonating and what’s not within the local community.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–3 years in social, community, or brand roles.
  • Craft: Strong writing skills and a clear feel for voice, tone, and platform nuance.
  • Judgment: Confidence in making decisions independently, with thoughtful escalation when needed.
  • Community mindset: Genuine interest in building relationships and engaging audiences authentically.
  • Organization: Comfortable managing calendars, workflows, and creators without losing creative quality.
  • Adaptability: Able to move quickly while maintaining consistency and care.

Bonus points

  • Strong instincts for emerging formats and platform behaviors.
  • Experience working with creators or community programs.
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve efficiency and output.
  • Curiosity about how language, culture, and technology intersect.
