Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of smart contract security auditors, overseeing audit processes and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in languages such as Solidity, Rust, and others, identifying vulnerabilities, bugs, and potential exploits. Develop and refine advanced audit methodologies, tools, and testing frameworks for smart contract security analysis. Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for new DeFi protocols and features. Analyze complex smart contract codebases, including DeFi primitives like AMMs, lending protocols, and derivatives. Collaborate closely with development teams to provide clear, actionable feedback and recommendations for remediation of security issues. Stay at the forefront of blockchain security research, emerging threats, and new attack vectors within the DeFi space. Contribute to the development of secure coding standards and best practices for smart contract development. Communicate audit findings and technical details effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Maintain detailed documentation of audit processes, findings, and recommendations. Contribute to the growth and reputation of the company as a leader in smart contract security. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong specialization in blockchain and smart contract security auditing (5+ years specifically in smart contract auditing). Deep expertise in analyzing smart contracts for platforms such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Solana, etc. Proficiency in multiple smart contract programming languages (e.g., Solidity, Vyper, Rust). Hands-on experience with security auditing tools, static analysis tools, and fuzzing techniques. Thorough understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow/underflow, front-running) and their mitigation. Knowledge of DeFi mechanisms, protocols, and economic principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
