Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Conflict Resolution

Job Summary:

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for ensuring our online community adheres to our guidelines and rules. This part-time, remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that values equality and inclusivity. Key Responsibilities:

* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring users adhere to our community guidelines and rules

• Delete messages that violate our rules, including hate speech, harassment, and spam
• Ban users who repeatedly violate our rules, after thorough investigation and due process
• Mute users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruption
• Investigate reports from users about potential rule violations, and take appropriate action
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and rules
• Provide excellent customer service and support to users, addressing their concerns and questions
• Stay up-to-date with arenaflex's policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with our community guidelines

Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience as a Chat Moderator or in a similar role

• Knowledge of community management principles and best practices
• Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
• Experience working with diverse groups and individuals
• Strong understanding of equality, inclusivity, and social justice principles
