About the Role
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports information and data across various ESPN platforms, including television broadcasts, digital media, and print publications. You will work closely with our team to create and maintain a comprehensive database of sports information, including scores, schedules, standings, and statistics. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the quality and integrity of our data.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of sports information and data across various ESPN platforms
- Create and maintain a comprehensive database of sports information, including scores, schedules, standings, and statistics
- Work closely with our team to identify and resolve data discrepancies and errors
- Develop and implement processes to improve data quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging content and storylines based on data analysis
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including production teams and newsroom leaders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve data quality and efficiency
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as sports management, communications, or data analysis
- 1+ years of experience in data entry, sports information, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with data analysis software, such as SQL or data visualization tools
Preferred Qualifications
* 1+ years of experience in sports or media, preferably in a data analysis or research role
- Knowledge of sports information and data analysis, including statistics and data visualization
- Experience with web-based platforms and social media
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages
- Experience leading or training a team
- Certification in data analysis or a related field
