As a vital member of the Financial Planning & Analysis Team, this position will strategically collaborate with the broader Finance Team to help WEG achieve its financial goals and commitments. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving data-driven decisions, supporting financial planning, and delivering critical insights to senior management. This is a Hybrid position (Working 2 days in-office at our headquarters in Plymouth, MN and 3 days remotely from home weekly). In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $95,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis using various methods, including trend, variance, and ratio analysis
  • Develop financial models to forecast performance and identify risks or opportunities
  • Prepare and present reports on findings and recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights supporting business decisions
  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions to guide recommendations for investments or business strategies
  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial plans
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for projects or investments
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
  • Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual results, providing recommendations for corrective action
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and planning
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an aptitude for learning new software

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Workday and Workday Adaptive preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality preferred
