We are more than a fast-paced, high-growth tech company; we care about our people and take career progression seriously. This is your career and our aim is to supercharge it through the people, the work, and the programs that fuel who we are. About the Role: We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. You’ll directly contribute to Super.com’s growth and success by validating that our applications meet design specifications and requirements. You will advocate for our customers and help us build amazing experiences and value into our products. You’ll participate in fast-moving Agile teams, helping to both develop and implement test scenarios and test strategies in aid of our engineering releases. You’ll provide manual testing and QA guidance for multiple product verticals and projects. Your work will contribute directly towards operational metrics for both your immediate and extended teams. And you will help ensure that our products and experiences meet the highest quality for our customers. QA Engineer II encompasses the following key responsibilities:

  • Leverage existing test infrastructure and product documentation to build and maintain our manual test library.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for our MATs, our QA tooling, and our quality engineering processes.
  • Facilitating Product Quality
  • Verifying newly developed features meet acceptance criteria and design specifications, are not broken for edge cases, and interact well with existing features.
  • Seek opportunities to replace manual QA functions with automated coverage.
  • Partner with the team to identify opportunities to provide tools that can speed-up tasks and/or provide better coverage.
  • Monitor key quality metrics to verify product quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Owning user reported issues
  • Triage issues and feedback reported by users (both internal users and our customers), identify actionable issues, and drive those issues to remediation.
  • Owning product bug triage
  • Ensuring product bugs reported have clear reproduction and acceptance criteria, and ultimately an E2E test after the developer has fixed the issue.
  • Own and groom the product bug backlog
  • Prioritize bug fixes based on impact severity and frequency (working with PMs / TLs). Maintain a stack ranking of bugs to be worked on
  • Ensure bug tickets are ready to be worked on (clear reproduction & acceptance criteria).
  • Ensure bugs are acted upon in a timely fashion and that the team meets the Bug SLA.
  • Ensure Risk is assessed with each ticket and set a Risk Value.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience leveraging AI-based tools for quality engineering functions
  • Excellent manual testing skills with a superior attention to detail
  • Strong test design and test planning skills
  • Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to work independently

  • Highly engaged and inclined to drive quickly for results
  • Team player who collaborates effectively with different roles including developers, PMs, and designers
  • Experience working in an Agile team setting
  • Familiarity with the product life cycle and how QA fits into it
  • Experience designing, maintaining, and writing automated front-end test cases
  • Ability to help maintain and extend test automation frameworks
  • Solid coding skills with Javascript/Typescript, Java, or C#
  • Ability to teach less technical team members
