Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic home healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately while maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments in memory or behavioral health settings
- Support patients with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs by implementing personalized care plans
- Maintain patient safety by following HIPAA guidelines and ensuring confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing
- A strong desire to provide faith based compassionate care
- Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and basic life support (BLS) certification is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or complex medical needs including dementia and infectious disease care
- Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to support patients across pediatric to geriatric populations
