Role Overview As a Senior Software Engineer at IntusCare, you will play a key role in architecting, building, and scaling our next-generation EMR platform for PACE. You’ll work closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams in a modern agile environment, helping drive technical excellence and deliver meaningful healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Architect & Build – Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs and intuitive frontend interfaces using ReactJS, TypeScript, NextJS, NodeJS, and MongoDB Product partnership – Engage with PMs and Designers from ideation through delivery: scoping feasibility, identifying edge cases, decomposing large initiatives into deliverable milestones, and offering technical input that strengthens product decisions early Technical Leadership – Set best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and system design. Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews AI & Innovation – Champion new technologies and approaches to improve our product and engineering process, leveraging AI and other tools

Requirements

Product mindset – you think about the user, and you ask “why” we are building something so that you can best solve the users’ problems Strong coding practices & strong eye for quality and “code smells” – you use AI, and you know how to step in and keep quality high when it matters Effective use of AI tools – you are responsible for the code you produce, and you are excited about using the best tools to produce that code Advanced proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript, NextJS, NodeJS, and MongoDB Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on building scalable and efficient solutions Ability to effectively collaborate with Product and Engineering teams Demonstrated ability to take ownership of features and projects from ideation to delivery Bonus Points Healthcare experience, especially EMR/EHR, or B2B, or working with healthcare data. Your Product Manager is one of your best references. You are excited by the mission and improving the lives and workflows of clinicians.

Compensation & Logistics Compensation: $140K–$175K, with the ideal candidate expected near the midpoint of the range. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and organizational needs.
