  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Ability to type at least 60 words per minute (required for most assignments)
  • Preferred Candidates on a healthcare career track (pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patient charts according to clinic protocol
  • Accompany providers in scheduled patient visits (virtually)
  • Document patient history, physical exams, procedures, and treatment plans
  • Assist in tracking quality metrics and ensure accurate documentation
  • Enter lab and radiographic study orders as instructed by the provider
  • Input medication orders as dictated by the provider
  • Print and organize patient instructions as needed
  • Review completed charts with the provider between patients or at the end of the shift
  • Maintain and update provider and clinic preference documents as necessary Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Education Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (minimum 3.0 GPA); candidates without a degree should have at least one year of full-time scribing experience Education Requirements
