Educational Program Director / Principal Consultant (Remote Oversight & Operations) - Contract to Hire

We are seeking a highly experienced educational leader (former Principal, Assistant Principal, Dean, Director of Education, or Senior Instructional Administrator) to provide executive-level oversight and operational leadership support for a growing homeschool enrichment and hybrid learning program serving K–12 students. This role is designed for a seasoned education professional who understands how to build structure, accountability, consistency, student engagement, and staff professionalism within both onsite and remote learning environments. The consultant will work directly with executive leadership to assess program quality, strengthen educational operations, improve staff oversight, and help ensure the program is operating with the structure and professionalism expected within a high-quality educational environment. This is not a tutoring role. This is a leadership, oversight, accountability, and program quality role. Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level educational and operational oversight for a hybrid learning and homeschool enrichment program
  • Evaluate daily program structure, educational consistency, and overall learning environment
  • Assess staff professionalism, leadership effectiveness, communication, punctuality, accountability, and operational follow-through
  • Support executive leadership in strengthening organizational structure, staff oversight, and program culture
  • Observe and provide recommendations regarding instructional quality, student engagement, learning support, and educational standards
  • Assist in implementing professional educational systems, behavioral expectations, schedules, supervision structures, and accountability protocols
  • Conduct leadership coaching and performance feedback sessions with onsite and remote staff
  • Identify operational weaknesses, educational gaps, staffing concerns, and program risks
  • Help establish sustainable systems for communication, supervision, reporting, documentation, and escalation procedures
  • Ensure student safety, supervision standards, and educational professionalism are consistently maintained
  • Provide strategic recommendations regarding program improvement, staffing structure, and educational operations
  • Participate in scheduled leadership meetings and ongoing operational reviews

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Former School Principal or Assistant Principal strongly preferred
  • Experience overseeing teachers, support staff, and educational operations
  • Background in K–12 administration, charter schools, homeschool programs, private education, or hybrid learning environments
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to address accountability and operational concerns professionally
  • Experience managing difficult staff dynamics, performance improvement, and educational culture
  • Ability to assess both educational quality and operational effectiveness
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership coaching skills
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating directly with executive leadership
