Investor Services AML Analyst II- Alt. Inv.

Duties & Responsibilities Independently complete operations related to investor services functions, specifically related to anti-money laundering (AML) processes, for multiple alternative investment clients and funds. Perform all duties of the Investor Services AML Analyst I and II, including Assist in training new associates. Assist in reviewing the work of Investor Services AML Analyst I and II associates for accuracy and completeness. Understand and review the policies and procedures of AI. Understand the AML requirements as applicable to both domestic and offshore funds. Understand the AML system flow throughs and assist with enhancements. Knowledge of how to improve the various systems specific to the job function. Knowledge of tax form review and validation processes. Monitor and resolve exception items to ensure resolution within acceptable timeframes. Document/review workflow and procedures. Assist in trainings of the various product updates and product types being supported. Assist with onboarding new clients including review of subscription document for AML Compliance. Assist with projects, including designing and testing of new systems and programs. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills MINIMUM Demonstrated high degree of attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self –starter who can work both independently or within a group. Excellent Microsoft Office skills. Demonstrated aptitude and experience with AltPro. Knowledge of various alternative investments products such as hedge funds and private equity. Ability to communicate information carefully to manage client and investor relationships. Ability to read, examine, and organize documents. Knowledge of BSA and the US Patriot Act Knowledge of IRS Form W-9, W-8 and CRS certifications. PREFERRED Knowledge of AML rules of offshore jurisdictions such as Cayman Islands and Bermuda. Experience and knowledge of E&Y Tax Certification Validator, and workflow systems.

Requirements

MINIMUM Associate degree or two years of post-high school education. High school diploma or equivalent and directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of an associate degree or two years of post-high school education. Two years of directly related clerical experience in a financial services environment. PREFERRED Three years of directly related clerical experience in a financial services environment.
