Why This Role Matters

The Senior Data Engineer you will become a cornerstone of arenaflex’s data ecosystem. You’ll design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines that feed critical data sets to analysts, product teams, and studio partners worldwide. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with studio and project innovation teams to gather and translate data requirements into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that move data from source systems to data lakes, warehouses, and downstream analytics platforms.
• Model data sets, create relational tables, and develop data views that support reporting, analytics, and machine‑learning initiatives.
• Implement and enforce data quality, validation, and monitoring processes across development (DEV), quality assurance (QA/UAT), and production environments.
• Leverage a modern tech stack—including arenaflex, arenaflex, arenaflex, arenaflex, and arenaflex—to build resilient data solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval strategies for large‑scale datasets, ensuring performance and cost‑effectiveness.
• Document pipeline architecture, data lineage, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the evolution of best‑practice standards for data engineering within arenaflex.
• Participate in cross‑functional agile ceremonies, providing technical insight and estimating effort for upcoming data initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a data engineering role, with at least 2 years focused on designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• SQL Proficiency: 2+ years of hands‑on experience writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and managing relational databases.
• Cloud Expertise: 2+ years working with cloud platforms (preferably arenaflex and arenaflex), including object storage and compute services.
• Programming Skills: Strong Python coding abilities for data transformation, orchestration, and automation.
• Version Control & CI/CD: Experience with arenaflex or similar Git‑based workflows, and containerization using arenaflex.
