Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Specialized Bookkeeping, Functional Bookkeeping, Product, Engineering, Finance, Tax, and Legal stakeholders to define and prioritize revenue bookkeeping initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive bookkeeping data requirements that support automated journal entry pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Lead functional improvement projects aimed at streamlining revenue processes and reducing the revenue close cycle time.
• Analyze the data characteristics of journal entries generated by the Revenue Subledger; create and execute data quality checks for high‑impact use cases.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to continuously enhance the daily Revenue Recognition workflow and oversee reconciliation investigations alongside the audit team.
• Review new product releases for potential impacts on revenue accounting; gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the Revenue Subledger.
• Drive automation of journal entry flows for new and existing products, leveraging SQL and Python to handle large volumes of transactional data.
• Execute month‑end revenue bookkeeping close tasks, including GAAP revenue analysis, cost of revenue investigation, debt claim reconciliations, journal entry reviews, and audit deliverable preparation.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses and special projects as assigned, providing data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership.

Essential Qualifications
