[Remote] Associate Risk Engineer (Underwriter), Executive Risks

They are seeking an Associate Risk Engineer (Underwriter) to support the achievement of established renewal and new business goals for financial lines products, including D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, and Crime coverage, while building strong customer relationships and executing profitable underwriting strategies.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting and Risk Analysis: Examines, identifies, and evaluates management liability exposures for private and nonprofit organizations and makes underwriting decisions on accepting, declining, or modifying risks within assigned underwriting authority level in partnership with the underwriting team
• Broker and Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key brokers, agents, and other business partners through participating in sales and marketing initiatives.  Serve as the point of contact for assigned accounts, managing expectations and providing support
• Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to generate profitable business growth, including identifying opportunities for new business production and cross-selling
• Operational Tasks: Maintain high quality underwriting and customer service standards. Use underwriting systems to process business efficiently and document underwriting files thoroughly

Skills

• 1+ years of specialty underwriting experience in Executive Risks
• Strong sales, communication and marketing skills
• Ability to demonstrate success with managing tight time frames
• Ability to manage high volumes of work
• Experience with direct agency relationships
• Bachelor's Degree
• Professional designations such as CIC and CPCU
