Stanford Federal Credit Union is on a mission to improve financial lives and is seeking a motivated and client-focused Registered Investment Services Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing comprehensive support to Wealth Advisors and enhancing the client experience while managing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Communicated daily directly with advisors, clients, prospects, and vendors
  • Process new client paperwork in coordination with client services team, and assist with new account openings, transfers, and transactions with firm custodians(s)
  • Complete monthly reports as requested by Advisors or Management
  • Maintain client records in CRM database, including documentation of phone calls and conversations with clients. Communicated confidential client information professionally and discreetly
  • Assist financial advisors with scheduling appointments, which are a result of emails, phone inquiries, or regular reviews of current clients
  • Provide continuity of activities for the financial advisors in their absence
  • Coordinate activities with the Marketing Department of the credit union to assure prompt, efficient operations between organizations as necessary
  • Maintain all internal policies, procedures and client files in strict confidence

Skills

  • Active Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65) licenses required
  • A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a client service or advisor support role within a financial services or wealth management firm
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM software
  • Positive, customer focused attitude and demeanor with a desire to provide outstanding service
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated interest in developing into a Wealth Advisor role
  • Knowledge of SFIS/LPL rules, products, services, regulations, procedures, philosophies, techniques, practices, and its interrelated functions
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred
