Why This Role Matters

The Senior Financial Accounting Analyst will be a pivotal member of arenaflex’s Corporate Bookkeeping Group. This role supports the month‑end close, intercompany accounting, and related‑party transaction processes that are essential for accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP. By ensuring the integrity of financial data, you will directly influence strategic decision‑making, budgeting, and the overall financial health of arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting & Reporting Duties

• Month‑End Close: Lead the preparation and review of journal entries related to intercompany eliminations, intercompany allocations, and related‑party transactions.
• Reconciliation Management: Perform detailed reconciliations of intercompany accounts, identify and resolve out‑of‑balance items, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to correct discrepancies.
• Transaction Monitoring: Track related‑party transactions throughout the fiscal year, conduct valuation analyses, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the compilation of arenaflex’s financial statements by providing accurate data, supporting schedules, and explanatory notes.

Collaboration & Advisory Functions

• Cross‑Functional Partnerships: Work closely with the Treasury, Legal, and other Controllership teams to gather supporting documentation and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Ad‑Hoc Projects: Partner with the Senior Manager of Financial Accounting – Corporate on special initiatives, process improvements, and system implementations.
• Budget Support: Contribute to the preparation of arenaflex’s budget forecasts by developing financial calendars and timelines.
• Policy Development: Research complex accounting topics, draft accounting memoranda, and recommend changes to accounting treatments as needed.

Audit & Compliance Activities

• Internal & External Audits: Coordinate audit requests, prepare audit schedules, and support both internal and external audit teams throughout the audit cycle.
• Regulatory Reporting: Ensure that all intercompany and related‑party disclosures meet SEC, SOX, and other regulatory requirements.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on accounting experience with a focus on intercompany and related‑party accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles, especially as they pertain to consolidation, eliminations, and related‑party disclosures.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
