The role involves working closely with experienced leaders in litigation, gaining hands-on experience in litigation strategy and client interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with and receive direct mentorship from nationally recognized leaders in commercial litigation, real estate litigation, CMBS litigation and transactional work, and financial services litigation
  • Gain hands-on experience in litigation strategy, client interaction, sophisticated motion practice, as well as transactional work in the real estate arena
  • Handle appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Financial Services Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, and general Commercial Litigation
  • Strong academic background
  • Proven research skills
  • Exceptional litigation abilities
  • Strong writing skills
  • Persuasive speaking abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Litigation experience
  • Experience handling appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials
  • Michigan-based candidates
  • Some real estate transactional experience
