[Remote] Senior Android Mobile Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise Android applications while collaborating with various teams and ensuring high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Android applications
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, and backend teams
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning
• Build scalable solutions following MVVM architecture patterns
• Implement high-quality user experiences using modern Android frameworks
• Write maintainable, testable, and performant code
• Develop and maintain automated tests
• Ensure proper handling of permissions, security, and application lifecycle management
• Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices initiatives
• Support troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization efforts

Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years developing native Android applications
• Strong expertise in Kotlin
• Experience with MVVM architecture
• Experience consuming REST APIs using Retrofit
• Strong understanding of Android application lifecycle and architecture components
• Experience with JUnit testing
• Experience handling Android permissions and security best practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Kotlin Coroutines and/or RxJava
• Jetpack Compose
• Dependency Injection frameworks (Hilt, Dagger, or Koin)
• Jetpack Navigation
• Espresso or Mockito testing
• CI/CD experience for mobile applications
• Previous experience supporting initiatives with JPMorgan Chase
