[Remote] CNC Programmer

The role involves creating and maintaining CNC programs, interpreting engineering drawings, and working cross-functionally to improve manufacturing processes in aerospace machining.
Responsibilities
- 5-8 years of NC/CNC programming experience in aerospace machining, including 3-axis and 5-axis applications
- Create and maintain CNC programs, machine control data (MCD), tooling data, and setup documentation using CATIA V5/V6
- Create and update setup sheets and tool layouts as required
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing requirements to develop machining methods for aluminum, titanium, and composite parts such as spars, panels, ribs, and empennages
- Validate NC programs using Vericut and support shop-floor troubleshooting, prove-out, and process improvement
- Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, tooling, planning, and operators to improve quality, producibility, and cycle time
Skills

- BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Strong experience in multi-axis aerospace machining, cutting tools, feeds and speeds, and CNC machine controls
- Hands-on experience supporting tooling, fixture development, and machining process improvements in a production environment
- Working knowledge of manufacturing planning, setup sequencing, and production support in an aerospace environment
- CATIA V5/V6 for CNC programming
- Mastercam for CNC programming and tool path development
- Vericut for NC simulation and program validation
- USN/GC/FN; Preferred: USN
