[Remote] Manager, Product Compliance - Money Products

DoorDash’s Legal Team is known for its collaborative approach, and they are seeking a Product Compliance Manager to support compliance strategy for their merchant capital program. The role involves partnering cross-functionally to ensure products meet regulatory obligations while enabling business success.

Responsibilities

  • Stay current on regulatory changes, enforcement trends, and industry best practices affecting business-facing financial products
  • Translate legal and regulatory requirements into operational guidance and product specifications
  • Support audits, bank partner requests, and regulatory testing related to the DoorDash merchant program
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to merchant lending regulatory compliance as well as card networks and bank partner requirements
  • Develop and support governance functions such as testing, issue management, and compliance reviews
  • Support customer service on complaints related to DoorDash Merchant workstreams, advise on resolution, including corrective action, where appropriate
  • Conduct and/or manage compliance assessments and contribute to the design of scalable, risk-based controls
  • Identify control gaps and support remediation plans in partnership with cross-functional teams

Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in regulatory compliance in the financial services industry, preferably fintech, with a focus on commercial and revenue-based financing
  • Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to financial products, such as BSA/AML, Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and Regulation B, and state commercial finance disclosure laws
  • Experience maintaining a fintech compliance program, bank partnerships and third party vendors
  • Ability to work well with ambiguity and synthesize large amounts of complex information
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Exceptional judgment and integrity, ability to handle complex matters independently, and product-minded approach to compliance
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, and able to set priorities
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM))
