[Remote] Senior Software Engineer - Platform & Integrations

Seismic is a company focused on building core services for their platform, and they are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform and Integrations team. The role involves leveraging AI-first development, cloud-native architectures, and leading-edge technologies to maintain and build new features critical to user experience while collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with data engineers, AI engineers, and product teams to integrate CRM capabilities across the Seismic platform
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices in full-stack development
  • Work closely with geographically distributed Cloud/DevOps teams to provide production support as needed
  • Experience in collaborating with product management and design, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive successful delivery
  • Proven record of driving feature development from concept to launch
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven company
  • AI-native integrations ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend engineers, and UX

Skills

  • 5+ Experience with C# and .NET, unit testing, object-oriented programming, and web services
  • 3+ Experience with PostgreSQL, including maintaining and performing tuning
  • Proficient in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Domain Driven Development (DDD) with xUnit, Postman etc
  • Experience with Event driven architectures with tools like Kafka and in-memory data stores like Redis
  • Proficient in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Fast-paced Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven company
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teams across different global regions
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices in full-stack development
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend engineers, and UX
  • Experience with Claude, CoPilot, GitHub, NewRelic, Snowflake, Ansible, Python, Agentforce is a plus
  • Experience with major CRM ecosystems like Salesforce/Dynamics is a plus
  • Front-end experience is a plus
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of cloud-native services for AI/ML, data storage, and processing. Experience deploying containerized applications into Kubernetes is a plus
  • Extensive experience in SaaS application development and cloud technologies, with a deep understanding of modern distributed system and cloud operational infrastructure
  • Experience in collaborating with product management and design, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive successful delivery. Proven record of driving feature development from concept to launch
  • AI-native integrations ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Cloud Support: Work closely with geographically distributed Cloud/DevOps teams to provide production support as-needed
