[Remote] Media Operations Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Valnet is currently looking for a Media Operations Manager for their display media business. This role involves partnering with Sales and cross-functional teams to manage media planning operations and execute campaigns, ultimately driving revenue and achieving strategy goals.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales on defining customer needs and creating media plans that will result in successful display campaigns that meet or exceed client goals
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions with internal and external stakeholders - Sales, Product, and agency/client partners to generate big ideas and custom media solutions
- Provide direct management of client opportunities as needed, taking ownership of execution of media plans and client communications
- Partner with internal Sales, Product, and Technology departments as well as externally with advertisers and agencies to execute successful online advertising display campaigns
- Implement and manage advertising campaigns using order management system, ad server, CRM, and other internal systems
- Provide technical and timeline requirements to external and internal clients, managing deadline schedules and distributing materials
- Provide consistent weekly reporting and insight to advertisers/agencies and Sales partners regarding all aspects of their campaigns
- Identify upsell opportunities to drive incremental revenue for individual clients and ad products
- Compile and manage billing files for all assigned campaigns on a monthly basis
- Troubleshoot any issues (technical or otherwise) and provide a reasonable, realistic solution to external and internal clients
- Assist in various projects as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline
- Strong background in online media, advertising technology, and client service
- 1-3 years of online advertising experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Must be detail oriented and able to maintain multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Desire and ability to make and maintain strong client relationships by providing outstanding customer service
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong knowledge of online media (including, but not limited to display media, CRM marketing, social media, video ads, mobile ads, PPC/CPL)
- Experience with ad serving technologies and CRM systems
- Skilled in thinking creatively and taking initiative and work independently, multi-tasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to apply strong analytical skills to evaluate data and apply towards campaign optimizations is a must
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, customer service, and time management skills
- Proven track record of consistently meeting goals and objectives
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
