[Remote] Associate Financial Planner

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Stash Wealth is a modern financial advisory firm for high-achieving 30-somethings who make good money and want more to show for it. They are looking for a CFP to own client relationships and provide exceptional planning experiences, focusing on actionable financial plans and operational infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build clear, actionable financial plans in MoneyGuidePro
• Provide ongoing advice across goals-based investing, cash flow, equity compensation, student loans, home buying, and other 30-something milestones
• Guide clients through major life decisions with action items, not options
• Handle all meeting prep, follow-up, and action item execution
• Translate financial complexity into language clients actually act on
• Own back office workflows including account opening, money movement, trade execution, and rebalancing support
• Maintain the CRM and client records with accuracy and discipline
• Coordinate with custodians and third-party vendors to resolve issues and ensure service quality
• Own regulatory documentation, entity filings, state registrations, and tax deadlines
• Keep vendor relationships organized and flag issues before they become problems

Skills

• CFP designation required
• 3 to 5 years of experience in financial planning with meaningful client-facing exposure
• Proficiency in MoneyGuidePro or comparable planning software
• Fluency with back office operations in an RIA environment
• Strong written and verbal communication. You can run a client meeting and write a compelling follow-up
• Experience in an independent RIA, boutique firm, or startup environment strongly preferred
• East Coast or Central timezone preferred
