About the Role
Arraya Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Practice Lead & Principal Architect to drive the growth and technical strategy of our cybersecurity business. This role combines hands-on presales solutioning with practice leadership, ensuring that customer opportunities are translated into well-designed, high-impact security solutions. This individual will partner closely with the sales team and customers to shape solution strategy, while also guiding the evolution of Arraya’s cybersecurity portfolio across products, subscriptions, and services. The ideal candidate is a commercially-minded cybersecurity architect with strong experience in a VAR or systems integrator environment—someone who can confidently position customer engagements while contributing to the development of a focused, scalable practice.
Responsibilities
Presales Architecture & Customer Engagement
- Lead technical solutioning for qualified customer opportunities in partnership with Account Executives
- Design and position cybersecurity solutions across:
- Network and edge security
- Identity and access
- Threat detection and response
- Cloud security
- Penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and gap analysis
- Translate customer requirements into practical, scalable architectures aligned to business outcomes
- Develop solution proposals, BOMs, and supporting documentation
- Deliver customer-facing presentations, workshops, and technical guidance throughout the sales cycle
Practice Leadership & Growth
- Support the growth and overall performance of the cybersecurity practice
- Help shape a focused portfolio of offerings aligned to market demand and partner capabilities
- Contribute to pipeline strategy, account planning, and opportunity prioritization
- Develop repeatable solution approaches and presales assets to improve consistency and efficiency
Vendor & Portfolio Management
- Manage strategic relationships with key cybersecurity partners, including Cisco, CloudFlare, Fortinet, and Rapid 7
- Lead certification alignment and enablement strategy across the practice
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends, technologies, and competitive solutions
- Collaborate with vendors on solution positioning, roadmap alignment, and go-to-market initiatives
Solution Quality & Delivery Alignment
- Ensure solutions are well-architected, deliverable, and aligned with customer expectations
- Partner with delivery and support teams to enable smooth transitions from presales to implementation
- Provide technical guidance on complex engagements as needed
Team & Leadership
- Direct oversight of Cybersecurity Engineering team
- Provide mentorship, technical leadership, and support to broader sales and delivery teams
Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture within a VAR, systems integrator, or consulting environment
- Proven experience leading presales solutioning and supporting customer-facing engagements
- Strong knowledge of at least one major cybersecurity ecosystem (Cisco strongly preferred)
- Experience designing solutions across multiple domains (network, endpoint, identity, cloud security)
- Demonstrated ability to balance technical design with business and customer considerations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred
- Experience with Cisco Security portfolio (SSE, Duo, SASE, ISE)
- Exposure to Rapid7, Arctic Wolf, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cloudflare
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as Zero Trust, NIST, and CIS Controls
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP/CCIE Security)
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- Full-Time
- Hybrid (see Work Environment below)
- 40 Hours per Week (Monday through Friday)
Work Environment
- Hybrid role based in the Philadelphia metro area
- Approximately 20% travel to client sites and Arraya office
This role involves in-person collaboration at our Blue Bell office and local client engagement. Candidates should be located within reasonable driving distance. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of being in a stationary position while working on a computer
- Must be able to move and/or lift up to 40 pounds at times
- Must be comfortable operating a computer and/or other office productivity machinery
Pay Range and Compensation Package Compensation is based on individual experience and qualifications. The estimated total pay range is $200K–$300K, including bonus structure. Apply To This Job
