Overview
Due to growth, we are adding a Manager, EPMO Operations to our team. The Manager, EPMO Operations is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and management of business analysis and/or project management staff activities. This role establishes and implements the operational standards to ensure effective delivery of enterprise projects and programs; serves as a change agent for continuous improvement. The Manager provides support to staff through education, coaching, accountability to standards, and mentoring and develops a culture that is sustainable, providing ongoing benefits to the organization. Responsibilities
How do I make an impact on my team? Contribute to establishment of process and metrics to ensure project delivery meets enterprise-wide standards and expectations. Define and utilize methods and reporting mechanisms that track and monitor requirements, milestones, deliverables, decisions, etc. Regularly review and assess status reports, project plans, change requests, requirements documentation and other project artifacts to ensure smooth project progression, clearly defined goals and expectations, impactful communication, responsible use of enterprise resources, customer satisfaction and risk identification and mitigation. Conduct project postmortems; provide methods for measuring and monitoring of defined benefits and project outcomes. Provide expertise and leadership in support of enterprise portfolio governance and oversight processes. Support all stakeholders in developing and understanding project artifacts, available resources,and related EPMO portfolio processes. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within and between project, business, and/or technology teams. Adhere to a structured project management methodology. Assess, plan, and engage project resources as needed throughout the life of the project Assist with team development by holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work, leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work, and mentoring and developing team members. Clarify and communicate the project scope and ongoing progress to project team members. Ensure each project has clearly defined milestones that indicate when customer value will be realized. Ensure each project has clearly defined major milestones that ensure successful delivery of that value. Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance, people and culture, and learning programs. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What our team expects from you? Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience leading teams that delivered projects utilizing a standard methodology/framework required. Health Insurance or pharmacy benefits management industry experience preferred. Experience in a role where work is highly visible and impact of team efforts involves many stakeholders at different levels of the organization required. Strong knowledge of Microsoft products such as Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook required.
